This Pain Poem by MATSEPE MOLEFI

This Pain

THIS PAIN

My heart breaks like a class of wine.
The last drop of wine hit the ground.
My eyes glistened with tears.
My chest so glare and wear.

Just a glimmer wouldn't hurt so much.
Since the world is in darkness.
Beautiful minds are in sickness.
This pain is dark and strong.

It takes and destroy
It steals and leaves no joy.
It doesn't care if you are a girl and a boy.

What will happen if it's greed.
Greed to suffer.
Greed to lie
Greed to kill.
Is as horrid as a murder's dream.

This pain is bad,
As cold as a witch's tid.
It's like am miffed.
This country is harmed.

Is it because am calm?
Or because am kind,
Yet love fades with pain,
Trust with time.
Pain with death.
