This Thought This Poetry

Rating: 5.0

I dislike this thought
That never leaves me
This ongoing performance
A creation of poetry
This passion out of date
Wasted in the modern world
This beauty of a soul
Others view unattractive
This vessel this book
Often judged by its cover
Left, passed over on a shelf
Still, still the thought remains
An obsessive heart wilts
In the dust of the forgotten
And still, still it must be written
The verse that needs to be
This thought this poetry
Few may love it
Less may care
And still, still its there
