This time, as she is escorted from the

has a new chance at life in store

she first arrived. Had family, not intervened
upon the scene. Surely, she would have
not survived.

She pulls down her sleeves as she leaves
so as not to show. The needle marks that
scarred her arms, not so long ago.

This time, '' she will '' put an end to it. She
has kicked the smack and won't look back.
With the Lord beside her, He shalt guide her
she has now the strength and hope to quit.
~
This time, she will conquer the horrors of
addiction. One day at a time, step by step
she shalt beat this sad affliction. This time
she will fight and with all of her might !
~
Though 'twill be a long, long journey. Full of
shards of jagged rock and stone. She shall
not be alone. She will not falter and her plans
they won't alter. This time, she shalt find -
her way home....
