Sometimes it resembled
you were the actress(only to me)
brightening my day.
I stood as the director
with the eyes keen
and the only audience
enchanted by you.
In rare scenes of beauty,
you dazzled and shine
captured by the camera
your charm brightly grown.
I felt those moments
what a director could weave
creating a magic that
one can hardly weave.
Those fleeting glimpses
were richer than gold,
more vivid than stories
than life would unfold.
Though, time has now aged us
and days drift away
we cherish those moments
our hearts still at play.
So here's to the past
to the laughter and light
to the roles that we played
in the soft evening light,
for even as the seasons
of life come and go
the beauty we captured
will always still glow.
