Those Poetic Lines Poem by RAJ NANDY

Those Poetic Lines

THOSE POETIC LINES

The poet finds a silver lining behind the
darkest clouds,
And in the rainbow, hidden behind those
gloomy monsoon days!
He knows eternal truth embraces both the
earth and the azure blue sky,
Even though he may not verbally say!
Poetry also lies in the shades of autumn
leaves that fall,
And in the darkened petals of roses that
fade away!
While the poets water-colored words
like elixir,
Quench our thirst in the parched month
of May!
He feeds our soul with to-morrows dreams,
And with the bread of yester-years!
And during those dark and dismal moonless
nights,
The benevolent glow of hope and love, -
Radiated by his poetic lines,
becomes our only light!
