Though Life At The Present Poem by Francis Duggan

Though life at the present is not going your way
And for you it has been another bad day
You are not alone on being financially down
There are many like you in every town
Many worse off than you are hungry and sleeping rough
So many who only does know life as tough
Life for them is a constant uphill fight
They do not have a bed for to sleep in at night
Though you are struggling to get by on poor take home pay
Compared to them you are one who is doing quite okay
And though hopes for better in you are not dead
Better days of you may well be ahead
And since with hope you are one who does keep faith
As is said good thinks always come to those who does wait.
