Though Only Of The Wealthy And Famous Poem by Francis Duggan

Though Only Of The Wealthy And Famous

Though only of the wealthy and famous books are published to sell
Everybody have their own life story to tell
Of their successes and failures and for them what used to be
But of their lives never a published autobiography
The same in the past as it is today
For leaders there has to be followers humanity works in this way
For a few to become wealthy and famous many in their life aspirations do fail
But not all bad people do grow old in jail
Not everyone can be a material success
And live in the wealthy side of the town at a fashionable address
Though to be wealthy and famous most people would choose
In life for one to win big others do have to lose
Suppose human life is designed in this way
Since there are winners and losers in the World every day.
