Three Eyes Poem by Nassy Fesharaki

Three Eyes

Three eyes

Unlike most, do not like
To live with just two eyes.

Want three…

If others are happy
With seeing left and right
I need to leap in time.

It means past, present
As well as future.

Like to see me dress
In way of yesterday
Of the past yester-days
That end in creation…

By Big Bang, God, Satan?

Want to walk with my cane
In every, each of the
Older days that mentioned.

How would be my judgement?

Need an eye for those days,
Please help, God, science?

Am tired of essays
That I read, they relate…

Almost all are bullshit!

Academia is nothing,
Except tool for fooling,
They select few books:
"Purpose is close-reading."

Underline and highlight
Odyssey or the Wolfe's
Or maybe Shakespeare!

No one knows Pyramids
Testaments are fictions,
Romanticized Machu Picchu
Is like the Acropolis, Persepolis…

The Incas, buried, lost
Like facts on Caribbean!

What happened in river
That was red with blood
Thanks to the invaders
Using swords, on horses
And later, guns, powder?

What about Burned City
With ashes remaining
In some barns in Sistan?

What about the Caral?
And about Azerbaijan?
What about "Infidel"
Or "Dubai" of Robin?

I have books handwritten
Several centuries…

Wish had eyes to see me
In their times, exact then!

Hate my eye of today
For seeing Trump-likes,
Brazil President, Manilla's.

Could I have same feeling
If had eye, third to see?

And what of tomorrow?
Will it be like today?

Want to have three eyes
For seeing past and now
To the end of the time!
