Through Brick Walls Poem by Lawrence S. Pertillar

Through Brick Walls

Truth pierces through brick walls.
Steel encased in layers of cement.
And probes so deep into stormy seas.
Sun rays can not reach.
Yet,
Receivers trained not to blink fixed eyes...
When telling their outrageous lies,
Perceive with a dependency they've obtained...
Skills to blind at will all told lies to disguise.
To excuse an innocence used with new alibis.
And a deception projected will go undetected.
Or a contradiction shown goes unknown,
Already predicted to suspect.

Faith to use with prayer as a tool,
Never disappoints the receiver getting the message.
And trick players seldom sit,
Thinking about negative actions done to others.
Or that political correctness,
Does not bypass consequences to pay.
Although,
Steadfast stubborn and blocked confined minds...
Can not keep secret their darkened basement visits.
Where stained glass windowed mansions sit.
Amidst,
The catered trash delivered.
