Through Great Ordeal Poem by Mehta Hasmukh Amathaal

Through Great Ordeal

Through great ordeal

She did not turn red
Or showed face of dead
When I commented about her name
She kept quiet and did not blame

Yes you have found
New ground
For world peace
To live at an ease

You have suffered
As female in order
The male dominated world did not listen to
Subjected female to pass through great ordeal

She is doyen of female crusade
And always made
Great effort to work for the welfare
Now it is to be seen how far she has succeeded

So the out shall be made open
Women may find it like heaven
Their woes shall be heard
And nothing shall be feared
