Through The Keyhole Poem by Mario, Lucien, Rene Odekerken

Through The Keyhole

A silver of light spills through,
painting thin lines across the floor.
Beyond, a world moves without me,
half-seen, half-known.

Footsteps pass,
voices rise and fall,
fragments of laughter,
a sigh lost in the hush of space.

I lean in,
eyes searching for more,
but the keyhole gives only glimpses,
never the whole.

Some doors remain closed,
some stories unfinished,
and some things are meant
to be seen in pieces.
