A tiger living in the wild
Has got to work a lot to eat,
No supermarkets nicely aisled
To look for special sales in meat.
But here at the Lincoln Park Zoo,
The keepers keep the meat until
I am safely out of their view,
Then hurry in a healthy fill,
And serve it up on hanging stuff.
So that when I do come on back,
Meal time is anything but tough.
Paws grip, teeth grind and lips do smack.
The Zoo does wonders just to please,
Cuz there is meat growing on trees.
