Time is a phenomenon
Used in increments
Encompassing every task
And every event.
It comes and goes in ages.
In hours and seconds too.
To look back on time
Is to get a split view.
Time doesn’t hang around,
And it doesn’t stop,
But simply keeps on going
With each tick of the clock.
