If your lost love breaks the sun, entering my eyes,
If today tries to find comfort in a lost yesterday,
If you appear when I no longer think of you,
If you break me more than you already did: —
What else can you do to me? —What else?

Do you not see that time change everything?
Even the static obsession I feel for you!
Do you not see the time between our love? —
I see it! —I feel it! —I leave you there in the past:
I have to abandon you, for Time cannot support you!
