Speak to me
when I am lonesome,
weak, and sad;
Speak to me
in dreams,
in reverie and fantasy;
Speak to me
when my thought
ponders on you:
Speak to me
My darling, you…
Speak to me
with your tender voice
melodious whispers of love;
Speak to me
without your words,
I will feel your heart and woe;
Speak to me
when you are lonesome,
weak, and sad:

My dearest heart…
Alliteration is used with beautiful effect. The repeats create a musical clickety clack of consonants and syllables. especially put in question...it creates a powerful and catchy effect that the reader is spell bound to latch on to...almost begging for an answer lovely nice poetry liked

This is a beautiful poem, Mihaela. So lovely and well worded. Hearing the voice of our loved ones, a great thing to experience again and again. These are among the simple things of life, we often under-appreciate.
