This odd thing, some call it aging,
really seems to have many enraging.
Its effect on some is defined,
What it does to your nice behind,
often pushed away and declined,
relentlessly continues to me grind...
Here is the answer and the key! Just 1,2,3
1. Rid your life of clocks.
2. Toss all the mirrors.
3. Calendars not allowed.
Timelessness, with these traps, will not BE.
How can one be outside of time,
looking in a mirror and then whine?
How can time passing be forgotten,
with so many markers of time? ~rotten.
Free yourself of its illusory passing,
Fill yourself without its harassing.
Be young, be eternal,
rid yourself of all infernal!
There never was, and never will there be death,
LIVE in only this moment's continual breath...
Endlessly, outside of time...
You have written the key to my life, on the opposite side almost. Whenever I write poetry, I write the time I start a poem and time I stop writing it, have always done this. It makes every moment count and I'm so used to time passing, that it doesn't matter, it's just another poem going out to the universe, I forget about the time. Life is much calmer within. Nothing matters outside of writing the poem, don't care about time outside it.
Ah! Think you're on to something here! Have you ever noticed when you're running late for something if you keep glancing at the clock you end up being late or getting there with no time to spare. But if you stay calm, ignore the clock you always make it with a few minutes to spare? Or am I the only one this happens to? Lol.
