Time Not On Our Side
Time not our side

When will have the normalcy?
When shall we lead life happily?
The question is asked repeatedly
But the answer is not available readily
No morning walk, no joy ride
We could decide nothing
Each morning we shall hear a mournful cry
And try to console self
Is the enemy knocking on our door?
Is it the cry from a neighbour?
We are not sure of whose departure?
Maybe anybody caught here!
We have learned to live
And believe
There is some superpower
That decides our destiny here
When do we see somebody alive on the road?
'Oh, you and plead ignorance
I am so happy to see you
And again turn to look back and overview
