Time Type Past Usage Marked A Keyboard Poem by Terence George Craddock

Time Type Past Usage Marked A Keyboard

Rating: 5.0

so much depends
on a keyboard
so much time spent
with a keyboard
fingertip soft small
shine indentations
now impression mark
my old faithful keyboard

all key common most
frequently used letters
share indentations shiny smooth deepest
letters q z x least used seem almost new unused
time has type past usage marked a keyboard
with the ghosts of a few thousand poems written

Thank you so much, Terence. This is so brilliant. The meter is amazing. As I read the words, I can hear the strokes on my old manual.

Memories of a different world, I still have hundreds of my poems hand written and typed on my old manual, in folders between clear plastic pages. Precious memories.
