Time Wasted To Fix Poem by Lawrence S. Pertillar

Time Wasted To Fix

Unfit.
But sits as if qualified.
In a position more realize,
Is one incompetent.

Indecisive and divides.

Unfit.
Although permitted to get attention.
With misdeeds and tantrums thrown.
Condone in a place,
Once well known.
For its integrity.
And its attempts to present greatness.
Now allowed to slip,
Into pits of lies and corruption ties.

Decisively dividing.

Unfit.
But sits as if qualified to delude.
In exclusive acceptance.
Unfit.
Is this presence leaving,
All to pay for it.
Today.
Tomorrow.
And days to come to follow.
With time wasted to fix.
What one permitted to know unfit.
Has left behind to undo.
