Timesong 20 Geological Time Poem by Stewart McKenzie

Timesong 20 Geological Time

Landscapes billow in the wind of time.
Plates rotate, icecaps shrink and swell.
Mountains heave up, are rained flat.
Seas come and go wriggling with life
Leaving waves of fossils.
A green froth covers the land
Humming and buzzing.

All engulfed by the spreading sun.
