to all my poet friends
who crossed my poetic thought path
shared part of my poetic journey
past present future
enriched my days with happiness
insight written in poetic words verses
enriched my life thoughts mind space
I thank you now precious hundreds
of poets are written into poems
good bad happy sad in themes
mini minor major or masterful
for all inspiration appreciated in time gift dedications
I thank you some of the best words I have ever written
took birth from flight thoughts originating in your pens
your minds your precious hearts
for this joy you have planted
within many lives of many people
in many diverse differing places
I thank you for the thoughts
which made time differences
in ripples which spread
to so many far flung lives
in present or far future at some time some place
may God bless you with a divine enduring reward
for felt sincerity pulse poet hearts inspiring pens
before I my time depart; tale my final leave taking;
whenever that day may come I thank you with
sincerity quiet appreciation; for enriching many lives;

Let us fully articulate our gratitude toward others while we can still string words together. Basho used to say that every poem in his late years was his death poem. I fear the note of finality that may creep in, but I too feel moved recognize what I have received.
I wrote the poem 'Gratitude An Enlightened Attitude', inspired by a comment made by the poet Denis Mair on my poem 'To All My Beautiful Poet Friends', and dedicated the poem to the poet Denis Mair.
This poem has not been translated into any other language yet.

Whence this white heat; whence this hard gemlike flame? Please be well in this season of new growth. Thanks for summoning up so many heightened moments that give me assurrance---the wellspring of good intention is never-flagging.
I wrote the poem 'Why Is A Wellspring Of Good Intentions Needed? ', inspired by a comment made by the poet Denis Mair on the poem 'To All My Beautiful Poet Friends', by the poet Terence George Craddock; and dedicated to Denis Mair.
