To be clear
Yes my son, my dear
-let things be clear
It happened long ago
-you were not still born
Out of me you had gone
-but not yet out of mom
You and your siblings
-of course and your mother
-lived in the U. S. A.
-I remained in Dubai
-working on paving ways
I came to Toronto
-rented car and aimed for
-Illinois where you were
-but was caught at Windsor
Yankees' guard took me to
-gun filled and small room
-then questions and answers
-they had tongues, no ear
Suddenly I blew into shout
-officer, you are young
-ordered me to shut up
-oh no, no, you listen
-raised my voice in anger
I told him of my past…
-he kept on ordering to stop
-I was a volcano, words lava
-no fire brigade could cross
Finally they listened and told me
-sorry sir, we have to…
-you are ex-officer, well aware
-we are just…following the order…
I knew they were forced to apply
-like what the officers are told now
-catch; arrest and kill them and torture
They gave me a paper and banned me
-from the USA, entry…
That day son the weather was ugly
-fog covered all the roads and trees
-seemed to be monsters in high hills
You have been told of me different
-they are lies, by no means it is fair
-I love you, your sister; brother
-forgave too the wrong of your mother
I have been able to become her
-she did what she did just because
-I away, she suffered, life was tough!
In times a leak breaks a big dam
-a drop, then second and current
-washes the concrete and cement
She wanted to sigh and empty
-but added, topped it up
-then carried
-the flood
……
