To Be Reborn Poem by Lamerre Lucie

To Be Reborn

Rating: 0.5

He said there could be no way out.
He said so,
While I was gazing into the abyss
And feeling the deep void calling me down.

He said there could be no way out,
And I should have ran away when I had the chance;
But I could never have done such a thing,
For I knew he was right.

'There can be no way out'.
And the abyss was calling me down,
The deep void, there, three steps away.

We knew I had to die to be reborn,
And so I jumped.
