"Who is the bravest man on Earth? "
Asks the blind priest.
"The soldier" says the little one.
"Cause he bears the pain to honor us."
"The mother" says the white lady.
"Cause she bears the pain of giving birth."
"The monk" says the black man.
"Cause he bears the pain to be alive and teach us all."
Yet the blind priest replies:
"The child who enters this world with
No armour,
No defense;
Wanting to feel its
pain,
To feel its joys."
Excellent poem with original thought. A child is the bravest of them all. This goes into MyPoemList. Somebody has given it a lower rating. This deserves 10+. Thanks, Dear Poet.
