To Build, Tear Down Poem by Heather Z. Hanna

To Build, Tear Down

To build a muscle you have to tear it down.
We do this with excercise.
So too, the Heart.
It has to be used to build it up strong.
If loving you is causing me pain
Then I know it's being torn apart
And will only be that much stronger
When it grows again.
