To Give Or To Get? - Poem by Konstantin Ananin
- It’s better to give than to get.
- It is the motto of Dad.
- You’ve got a nice father!
- Nice? He’s a boxer and rather
_______- But can’t boxers be nice?
- Maybe, but not in my eyes!
For example, last week when I got
A bad mark, he gave me a lot.
- And what was it?
- Boxes and kicks!
He’s given lots of them
To me since I began
To learn Science and History
Because of my bad memory.
