To Hold
Sometimes I want to hold you as a friend
Hold you safe and against the world defend
Sometimes to hold you in a mad love embrace
Feel you skin-on-skin.. feel our hearts race
But mostly I just need to hold you, my dear
...and in so holding.. just keep you so near.
