I can only imagine the dawn after that horrific night
When you discovered the truth with feverish fright
That you would not walk - such dark and incomprehensible days!
Trying to discern the mysterious ways-
Of God and his will for you
Perhaps a special calling hidden from your view.
Unbelievable! A medical profession you would fashion
With dedicated zeal and unbridled passion
And now, here at Lourdes You point to God's glory
As a fitting end to your miraculous story
With your Faith and Trust in God intact
Always affirming your sacred pact
Your aura shines like the brilliant sun.
Your dignity and sanctity- a model for everyone.
While your faith and belief bring us such awe
As we struggle to find His mysterious call.
