I was there standing alone
My sight fixed unto you
While my heart in-rage my thoughts
Of those nights you gave me light
To let me see my way
Lady it’s not easy to let you go
But it kills us both to hold you
I know I’ll see you no more
But this, your dreams will come true;
I promise countryside maiden
Never to forget you, Lady Helen
Your memories will live
And keep it burning day and night
For the love we shared
