To Live Life One Can Poem by Francis Duggan

To Live Life One Can

Rating: 5.0

To live life one can only live as good as one can
And respect every woman and respect every man
And never no never put another down
Not even the lowest lowbrow of the town
And to your higher self try to remain as true
And always give credit to where credit is due
To pass judgement on others is not a hard thing
It does seem much harder one's praises to sing
Always treat others as you'd like them to treat you
And never seek praise for any good deeds you do
Most wrongs against you doubtless you can forgive
And try to practice the theory in live and let live
And if you can do your good deed of the day
You can only try your best and your best is okay.
