To Lose You Is To Never Love Again - Poem by Mikel Calcagno

I'm a waster boy
anti-masterplan
Been stuck inside this lonely room again
I get paranoid
see vultures circling
one slip then down comes the final curtain
Until, you come, into your soul again
We'll be the worst of best friends
Doesn't feel like Christmas in Hollywood
Doesn't feel like we're ever going to make it home
It's a waste of joy
I can hardly stand
Been looking for the ramp for my escape
I love animals, so close to perfect
They're the only ones who seem to know their heart
To lose you is to never love again...
They steal you from
A future life
You've got to stop hurt
A thousand ways you can escape
Disappear and fade away
Tell me that I'm wrong
All that strength can make you weak
Chasing you and chasing me
Strangest beauty's in the strangest places
Strangest beauty's in the empty spaces
Amongst my eyes doused in salt
Transformation
We become someone else
Dislocation
As we get so far from ourselves
My condition's getting worse
I can't do without
Addiction is the lust
That won't let you out
Conversations
Are something of the past
Investigations
Of everything that holds us back
Your contrition is deserved
You'd like to disappear
Find a new home
For your salty tears
Less you ask the more you see
There are only so many accidents
It's the universe and nothing's free
There's something inside me
I dont wanna be the danger to myself
Fear, it's violent, sleeping inside me
Cry out, I just can't shake this from inside me
Sickness, I'm full of weakness, emotion
Please, let me free, now just get out of me
In the way that you state your feelings
No matter the cost
How you separate all the cliches
Still you get so lost
But I wish I was wrong
Wish I was wrong
There has never been anyone like you for me
The fear fed from the heart bleeds the fear from the mind
My life feels so nice
It seems my darkness disguised entity
Shrouded in lifetimes of misery
Turned and it swells in my fate
Found tranquility in the cover that holds me
Egging through to the marrow of blood and bones from my mind
Someone, Help Me, Grab Me, Save Me Now,
Distrust, Darkened, Daylight, I've lost sight
When it feels like things have gone away
I'll see you again
