To Love Gentle Sunlight Poem by Crystal Rosser

To Love Gentle Sunlight

When you know, let your spirit soar,
Soar with the wind, and let it
Move, move through the trees, and let it
Dance, dance through the leaves.

When rains come, let your spirit seek,
Seek shelter in a bear's cave,
Fear not, fear not the savage beast,
For within his ribcage, he's a tender heart.

He will lead you out,
Out, when all is safe and quiet,
Quiet, when all the rain has passed, he knows
He knows what it means to love gentle sunlight.
