To Marilyn Poem by Subroto Chatterjee

To Marilyn

Rating: 5.0

“I said I wanted to be left alone.
I didn’t say I was lonely.”
She had nothing to atone;
She was Hollywood’s only.

She was a vision and a treat
To countless moviegoers;
She gave what she couldn’t give herself.
Died in 1962.
At thirty-six.

A very touching, sincere tribute! Short and sweet!
