To My End Poem by Anil Kumar Panda

To My End

I am sailing through the twilight zone
Feeling the pulse in my heart running slow
Unwanted and unheeded I drive to
Darkness leaving behind shine and glow

Temples, Churches and Mosques
All the holy shrines call me by my name
I have lived enough, they call out loud,
This is the time I should leave the game

No more I will call this world home
Or the plot I have bought years ago
Those prides and prejudices I played with
For rising high will burn with my ego

Beyond the twilight zone is hiding
A realm where truth does always prevail
O My Sailor, you are the lord of my hopes
Sail fast boat of my life, take me there without fail

Are you suffering from any disease or are you going to suicide or, is this just another theme which most of the modern poets always nurture upon? There are melancholic notes. Life is always a hope and beyond this life nobody can expect hope because nobody has experienced that stage. There is no problem that cannot be settled with proper care, knowledge and wisdom.

Hi! ! This is just a theme borne out of loneliness. Nothing more. What lies on the other side is just an imagination. Thanks for reading and giving wonderful comments. Regards.
