You spent time values of life to impart,
When I no more your finger need nor hand,
Holding me, nor pushing my young life's cart,
Stay close as a philosopher and friend,
And yonder still let me live in your heart.
And do bless me that your grand son I guide
Who, to same values in life would abide.

Sir, I am startled, this lovely work has not yet found readership! A great tribute to your beloved father! You must keep this valuable piece of work on your table where you pen! I pay great respect to this gentleman, your friend, philosopher and guide as your father.....10
Thank you so much Dr Swain for reading this 2007 poem, and for expressing lovely sentiments, your remarks have really moved me.
