To My Flat In Foothill Commons, Seattle! Poem by Dr.V.K. Kanniappan

To My Flat In Foothill Commons, Seattle!

Saying Hello is a nice gesture!
Make people happy to nurture
Friendship and well being
For every human being!

I went to Seattle, US in 2002,
Stayed there for full months 3,
Meet people on roads in 100,
See unknown persons in shops umpteen!

While I reach the main road NE 8th street,
I see VCA veterinary hospital in front,
Go to the left corner junction opposite!
I see Bellevue walgreens store!

While I came out of the shop,
I sit and relax in a bench, Oops!
Watching the persons in the signal’s cross!
Disciplined vehicles stop and go across!

We go to parks in every evening,
The sun up to 8 o’ clock shining,
We see people surfing in waterfronts,
Carrying on top of their cars, boats!

We went for a picnic to Space needle,
Another day to flight museum to see Air force one,
One day visit to San Juan Island to see the nature,
Another day to Capitol of Washington, Olympia!

Everybody, everywhere, said, ‘Hello!
Happiness in their faces, Fellow!
I walk back through meadows!
To my flat in ‘Foothill commons’!
