I am writing this to my daughter,
I don't want her to be a gangster,
All I want is her life to be better,
These are instructions that matter,
So that she lives happily ever after.
I want her to be a degree holder,
And become a CEO or a founder,
So that she can be her own provider,
Pay her bills and share the remainder,
She be applauded 'n' not the applauder.
I want her to be altruistic not corrupt,
Be a communist 'n' at times a capitalist,
Understand that life ain't always sweet,
Learn to apologize, forgive and forget,
As boyfriends will always break her heart.
