Yes, I too feel pain
Piercing thousands draggers
Millions cinders rain
It's more than that of beggars
Who beg but never gain
My mind isn't really calm
It mourns too when alone
To soothe it seems no psalm
Quite fatigued am I in tone
And pleasures almost gone
Just listen O Goddess of destiny!
Once diamond too lived like coal
Keep sending millions pains to me
Still I will keep shuffling to my goal
I live by the mantra ‘hard work is another name for good luck.’ May yours pay off! Many congratulations for your poem being being selected as Poem of the day
The biggest ordeal is pain that attacks inwardly. It cannot be ignored, as this poem demonstrates.I feel that this poem is calling for a continuation; it is raising a question. What strengths does one develop by passing through such pain? How can one work with it? What is it impelling one toward?
shuffle and re-shuffle the daily activities to achieve the goal or aim in life; the god of luck has nothing to do if anyone spend the time lazily; well to read; congrats for being selected the poem asPOD
Congratulations, Prabhakarji, for this magnificent poem is Poem of The Day today on PoemHunter. The ideal theme, the metaphors, lovely, though not flawless, rhyme-scheme and words phrases used make it excellent and worthy of POD
