I fell for you,
Love fresh as the dew,
On a flower in early morn,
Feeling mesmerised,
Hypnotised,
So why do I feel so forlorn?
When we said our goodbyes,
That look in your eyes,
Haunts me to this very day,
I yearn for you now,
But sadly somehow,
You'll never again stroll my way.
Regrets plague my heart,
To go back to the start,
If only I could but I know,
The past has now gone,
And we have moved on,
But sadly I can't let go.
