there is something to be said
for the poet who is not read
open the eyes of others to what is said
share your dreams and doubts before you go to bed
write them down… before they vanish from your head
in the morning, before the sun has risen overhead
take in a deep breath and be glad you aren't dead
another day to let your thoughts stitch like a thread
share your heart and mind… let your poetry spread
