To Soldiers
To soldeirs
Millions of Indian women
May wish for their brothers heaven
Long life and happy journey
Along with no death or tragedy
They shall carry round plate
With colorful bright threads
With inscription of long life
Stars and many drawings on that sacred tie
Brother wishes too and assures
For protection in future
And to stand by in crisis
With all his sources
It has significance
Of family bond and presence
Of an attachment for whole stay
Whether in poverty or in rich's play
In no other country such festival takes place
It is not mere simple ceremony or pride for race
It is common and spread all over nation
With single voice and sign of strong family relation
Many sisters go and tie to soldiers
Who defend our border?
Provide us safe stay behind
And lay down lives for holy land
