To Summer Poem by Amy Marie

To Summer

I slide a lengthy finger –
Providing it with fragile chills as it glides
Across the transparent glass heart:
The heart which houses sacred gathered sea shells
Like a decorative time capsule.

Then –
I raise the heart
And rattle its delicate
Contents:
Rattling memories of you
As well.
