To Tell Him, He's Not Mine - Poem by Jennifer Morton

This poem is for him
To tell him how I feel
To tell him what I think
To tell him he's someone I need to see
To tell him he's amazing
To tell him I think about him
To tell him that is face is stuck in my mind
To tell him that his every word stays in my head
To tell him that he keeps me alive
To tell him that I need him
To tell him that he's my everything
The only problem is
He's not mine
He's no ones but everyone's
But mine
He doesn't even know I'm alive
At least I don't think he does
And he never will
Because I don't believe in love
I don't believe in risking my already broken heart
I won't, can't, don't and never will.
