To The Death Poem by Muzahidul Reza

To The Death

Rating: 5.0

When will you come to my empty life?
Let me know,

I have not had the taste of my immortal soul
Let me have,

I have not had the taste of my mortal life
Let me have,

Lots of works remaining for me
Let me do,

I have not yet earned I need
Let me earn that,

I am owe to many
Them let me repay,

My kins and friends are waiting for me
Let me meet them,

Many are grateful to me
Let me be grateful to them,

I have not yet done a single for my Creator
Let me do something that my soul can avoid fear,

My mind does not want to permit you
Without any notice from you.

We are leading mortal life in a mortal body with immortal soul. After death our souls leaving the bodies will go for next birth. Before death we have to complete many unfulfilled desires that you have painted here nicely. Best ode to death.
