To the girl I am in love with but will never know
Every night, when I lay down to sleep all I can do is wonder;
I wonder what it would be like to be the reason that smile is on your face.
I've never been on drugs but I feel like I have;
Cause you see, the only drug that I have experienced is love and let me tell you, my love for you is the strongest of them all.
I get so high it takes me to another place.

I wonder if I could heal what he left broken,
But my feelings seem to always go unspoken.
Whoever says nothing is perfect has not seen your smile or your eyes,
You light up my world as bright as the daylight skies.
I don't want any of these hoes,
I love everything about you from your head to your toes.
These hoes think that they're all that,
A good heart and a great mind, girl you got all that.
You're the only one that I would call back.

They say beauty is in the eyes of the beholder;
I would go blind just to give you my eyes so you could see you the way that I see you.
For you there is nothing I would do,
I'd trade the world just to be with you.
If given the chance, I would take care of you.
What would it take to help you understand;
I'd give the you the world if you just take my hand?

But I guess the issue at hand is mine,
I'm too scared to even give you a sign.
But maybe one day,
Maybe one day I will find the words to say.
