To The Open Road Poem by Peter S. Quinn

To The Open Road

To the open road
I'll walk away,
loosen up my load
make a new day.

Give of my share
enjoy and live,
be with spring here
life again revive.

All is for nothing
if you don't rise,
life is its roughing
full of day's surprise.

Circling around
times that we share,
gladness is found
in hours everywhere.

Now you must learn
to make it again,
once more to return
to life's roads main.

Sometimes it's breezy
to find and make,
but it becomes easy
if in life you're awake.

Circling around times that we share, gladness is found in hours everywhere. A beautiful poem.
