To The Rain Poem by Liza Sud

To The Rain

It was raining for three days, and I saw,
That rain - he is my favorite weather.
He is a strong and steadfast wall,
the noise of love, standing in front of entrance.

His water is perpetual and warm.
He's - the voices of life, giving them light.
He moves around you so that to touch,
As a best friend and God at the same time.

And I believe in rain, to trust in him -
Much easier than trust in the mad sun.
My mercury is softened by his fog.
As a kind leader, sometimes he'll wake up.

His movement is inside the word 'expect'.
And we all wait. Expectancy is bissful.
As children long to learn about new ways,
And the new world is in the wrists of Richter.

***

A NEW WORLD IS IN THE WRISTS OF RICHTER - This hyperbole works just fine. Richter is like a great actor you call a genius even though someone else wrote the play. This is a varied, inventive poem of praise for an ally in our health and well being - But to the true subject rain: what this poem does is release a freshness into the life of the reader, and a delight which has no shadow side. There no guile or calculation. It is as innocent as a Sunday in spring, just observing the season passing. No heavy thoughts, light thoughts.
