I use to be offended,
By those overdosed with self importance.
And captivated within their delusions.
As if to protect that which is respected.
Today...
I get it.
I use to let their critique of my efforts upset.
But I have come to realize,
Everyone has a right to find something valued.
With a need to inspect its quality.
