Today is the day

No time please, very busy
So saying he used to shy away
Neither have time to play with children
Nor have time to share in elation
Nor have the time for a leisurely stroll
To explore beauties of nature sublime and subtle
And the years slip by deferring things everyday
'When fortune knocks my door, he would say
I will rise to the occasion
And prove myself a worthy man'
Beauties of spring and of fall came and went
Yet he scarcely knew them when came and past
Do whatever you want and succeed you may
But the key to success is to start today
For yesterday is dead and gone
Tomorrow's events are unknown
It's a dream but today is yours
Learn to live in the present moments
Time and tide wait for none
It's now or never if now you don't begin
Chase your dreams and listen to your heart
Now is the right time for the great start
Tomorrow's work, do today
Today's work now without delay
If the moment is lost
How will the work be done at best?
