Too Much Poetry Is Madness Poem by DEEPAK KUMAR PATTANAYAK

Too Much Poetry Is Madness

Rating: 4.5

The star of heaven comes;
Unnoticed and unseen
Disturbs and arrests
Until it delivers
Bitter-sweet verses
Into the soul it nails
Passion and pleasure
All seen lost in its magical spell
Like a storm-swept flower
Soul seeks liberation from its spur
But to escape from this blazing light
Without a mind quicker
Without an art creator
I never hear of souls
Set free from its prisons
Though childish I tug myself
Time and again
Only to see lost
With this art divine
Again and again…………….
